It's actually a function of who they hire to do the talking.

Outside of Danny Kanell and possibly Mack Brown, there isn't a soul working for ESPN covering football that has any history with the ACC. They really should add more. Hire Ronde Barber and Riley Skinner to replace David Pollack and Jesse Palmer. Do NOT hire Tim Tebow. Puh-leez.

It's the complete opposite in Basketball. Jay Bilas, Jay Williams, and Seth Greenberg do all the talking. They don't trash the ACC.

As I've posted before, the worst is baseball. There is 1 guy from the PAC12, and the rest is all SEC homers.
